Biochar's carbon storage potential undervalued due to outdated assessment methods, study finds

Biochar is not just the solution to your soil; but a carbon-sequestering superhero. Biochar is known for its ability, amongst other things, to keep carbon in the soil and out of the atmosphere. An important property that can vary amongst different types of biochar is how long it can hold this carbon in the soil. A recent study from Stanford University reveals that our prior understanding of how long biochar could keep carbon locked away did not give us a complete picture.
